  Min £1m cover evidenced at application stage. Cover can lapse afterwards. Customers must verify current insurance directly with the tradesperson before any work or payment.
• Photo ID checked at application

  Government-issued photo ID checked before any listing goes live.
• Two contactable references

  References nominated by the tradesperson and contacted by us via email or phone only. We do not visit sites or inspect any work. Customers should contact references directly themselves before hire.
• Trade credentials

  Gas Safe, NICEIC, NAPIT, CSCS and others checked against the relevant public register at application. Always re-check on the public register before commissioning regulated work.
