Our Fair Billing Pledge

We have watched the rest of the industry hike prices mid-contract, hide cancel buttons behind phone calls, and auto-renew trades into deals they never agreed to. Northern Ireland tradespeople deserve better. Here are seven promises about how we bill. Every word ours to be held to.

Why this page exists

Read the Trustpilot reviews of the big trades platforms and the same complaints come up again and again: surprise mid-contract price hikes, cancellation hidden behind phone gates, refund requests refused on principle, annual renewals that no-one consented to. We have built NI Trades to make every one of those things impossible by default. This page is the public commitment.

  1. Monthly billing only. No long contracts

    You pay month-to-month. No annual lock-ins, no minimum-term contracts, no exit fees. The next month you are billed for is always the next month you are billed for, never six in advance.

  2. One-click cancel in your dashboard

    Cancellation lives one click deep in your billing tab and takes about thirty seconds. No phone calls. No "we just need to verify your account" friction. No retention agent talking you out of it. If you want to leave, you leave.

  3. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current month, never mid-period

    If you cancel today, you keep access for the rest of the month you have already paid for. We will never bill you again after that, and we will never charge a final retroactive fee.

  4. Sixty days notice on any price change, with a free exit if you do not like it

    We will never raise your subscription mid-cycle. If we ever change pricing, you will get sixty days written notice by email. If the new price does not work for you, you can cancel before it takes effect with no penalty and no questions.

  5. No silent annual renewals

    Your subscription rolls month-to-month, not year-to-year. You will never wake up to a £400 charge because an annual renewal happened in the background.

  6. Plan changes are clear and predictable

    Upgrading a plan prorates immediately, so you only pay the difference for the days remaining in the month. Downgrading takes effect at the next billing cycle so you keep what you have already paid for. Either way, you will always see exactly what is about to be charged before you confirm.

  7. Accidental charges are refunded, no debate

    If you are billed by mistake (duplicate charge, charged after cancellation, charged on a free trial), email hello@nitrades.co.uk and we will refund within five working days. No forms, no escalations.

If we ever break this pledge

This page lives at nitrades.co.uk/fair-billing and shows the date it was last updated. If we ever change a promise, you will see what changed and when. We will not edit it silently.
